25 March 2025, Muscat, Oman: Oman Sustainability Week (OSW) 2025, the Sultanate’s national event for future energy, power, water, waste, future mobility, environment, and society, will take place between May 11 – 15, 2025. OSW this year, under the theme Sustainable Growth – Balancing Progress and Preservation, will unite policymakers, global industry leaders, and sustainability pioneers to explore innovative solutions for a thriving and a sustainable future. Oman Sustainability Week 2025 will spotlight cutting-edge innovations and strategic collaborations aimed at achieving Oman’s Vision 2040 sustainability goals, Net Zero Emission by 2050, the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and the Paris Climate Agreement.

The International Sustainability Resources & Technology Conference (ISRTC) organized by Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be’ah) and programmed by Economist Impact, is a key component of OSW, bringing together leading experts to share groundbreaking research and solutions in waste management, resource efficiency, and the transition to a circular economy. Discussions will explore advancements in carbon capture, green hydrogen, sustainable urban development, and ESG-driven business transformation, providing a knowledge-sharing platform for both local and international sustainability leaders.

At the heart of the event, the OSW Talks 2025 will serve as a catalyst for impactful discussions, offering a stage for global thought leaders, industry experts, and government stakeholders to exchange insights on the most pressing sustainability challenges and developments. The CPD-accredited OSW Talks will offer free-to-attend strategic and technical sessions, addressing key topics such as climate action and net-zero strategies, circular economy solutions, renewable energy innovations, sustainable water management, industrial decarbonization pathways, and fostering sustainability at the grassroots level within Oman’s education system.

OSW Talks will welcome expert speakers and decision-makers from leading entities such as the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology, Petroleum Development Oman, Oman LNG, Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be’ah), Hydrom, OQGN, OQ8, Shell Oman, bp Oman, and a distinguished lineup of international sustainability champions from Europe, the MENA region, and Asia.
