The Rado DiaStar Original Oman Edition watches take their design inspiration from Oman’s architectural heritage. Produced in four distinct models, the collection is available in silver or golden tones, each offered in two sizes: 30mm designed for slimmer wrists, and 38mm, expressing a bolder character.
The dial continues the celebration of Oman’s artistry, cultural heritage and topography. Curves, proportions and refined detailing translate architectural grandeur into a wearable expression. The warm sandstone tone reflects the overall aesthetic of local architecture, while the lower dial level features a subtle copper‑to‑gold gradient, adding depth and sophistication to the composition. The larger size is fitted with applied indices, whereas the smaller size uses crystals to mark the hours, offering two different interpretations of the design.
From a technical perspective, the DiaStar Original Oman Edition is driven by the same discipline and precision that define its design. The larger models are powered by the Rado calibre R764, an automatic movement with three hands and a day‑date display at 6 o’clock. With an impressive 80‑hour power reserve, it delivers precision, reliability and confidence for everyday wear. The smaller sizes are equipped with the Rado calibre R586, featuring a date display and a 48‑hour power reserve, offering a perfectly balanced blend of performance and elegance.
The case construction balances robustness with refinement. Framed by a polished Ceramos™ bezel – declined in platinum or yellow gold‑coloured finishes – the design is paired with a polished stainless steel middle case and topped by a vertically facetted sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside.
Turning the watch reveals a stainless steel case back adorned with a special laser engraving reading “OMAN EDITION”, enriched by architectural inspiration and a play of multiple brushed effects that add texture and depth.
