Special fan experience highlighted LuLu Exchange’s Regional Fintech Partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA)
Muscat, Oman: LuLu Exchange, the leading provider of cross-border payments in the Sultanate of Oman, successfully hosted a large-scale community engagement event titled “Celebrate Champions. Build the Legacy” at Oman Avenues Mall on Friday, December 12 2025. The event celebrated LuLu Exchange’s role as the Regional Fintech Partner of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) and brought an exciting, football-themed fan experience to the public.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, attracting thousands of visitors throughout the day. Families, football fans, media representatives, influencers, mall visitors, and children participated enthusiastically in the activities, with many contributing to the building of the mosaic wall.
At the heart of the celebration was the creation of a giant 6×2-metre puzzle mosaic featuring the LuLu Exchange and AFA partnership. The mosaic was completed piece by piece by 500 participants, each placing a personalised puzzle tile onto the growing structure—symbolising unity, teamwork, and the champion spirit shared by both football and LuLu Exchange.
The event was inaugurated by LuLu Exchange Oman’s Director, Mr. Mohammed Hamed Ali Al Ghazali, who placed the first piece of the mosaic in the presence of invited guests, media representatives, influencers, and young football fans. His participation set an energetic and inspiring tone for the daylong celebration.
Visitors also enjoyed a wide range of football-themed engagement activities, including a Shoot-the-Goal challenge, freestyle football performances, public freestyle sessions, football trivia rounds, and a dedicated selfie zone featuring officially signed jerseys of Argentine stars Lionel Messi, Julián Álvarez, and Lautaro Martínez. These activities encouraged strong social media participation and a high volume of user-generated content.

The event concluded with the full reveal of the completed mosaic, followed by the ceremonial handover of officially signed jersey of Argentine stars to one of the participants who contributed to building the mosaic wall.
