Olivos announces the new season of themed buffets

Muscat, 19th November, 2014 – Olivos Restaurant & Terrace at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Muscat is known for two things – the tantalising confluence of a variety of international cuisine that give it its unique character, and its hugely popular themed buffets that draw lovers of barbequed meats and Indian food from all over the city. And now, Olivos has now added yet another flavour to its repertoire – cuisine from sunny Spain. Every Tuesday, Olivos will offer a buffet laden with fresh and original dishes from the Iberian country. The other themed buffets – Flavours of India, BBQ Nights and Bubbly Brunch – will continue on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, albeit with new dishes and special offers. What’s more, Olivos has announced a revamped food menu with a cracking selection of pizzas, sandwiches and Panini’s bursting with taste.

Olivos Restaurant & Terrace is the all-day dining outlet at the Radisson Blu Hotel Muscat. Diners can choose from an a-la-carte menu or rich buffets that offer a diverse selection of food options on any given day of the week. Recently, some interesting new dishes have made their debut. The pizza section, for example, will have freshly-prepared pepperoni, Margharita and seafood pizzas on offer.  And under hot sandwiches, guests can dig their teeth into chicken and cheese Panini, and Halloumi cheese Panini.

Dinners are extra special at Olivos with the theme buffets that have been enhanced by the addition of a Spanish theme night every Tuesday. If you love the way the distinctive aromas and flavours of olive oil, garlic, fresh vegetables and tender seafood do the tango with your tastebuds, you cannot miss the indulgent spread that will be laid out at Olivos. Wednesdays are a tribute to the cuisine of India. From tangy to spicy and sweet, the Flavours of India buffet celebrates the diversity of dishes consumed in that country. The Indian food buffet begins at 6 pm on Tuesdays, and is priced at RO 13 net per person.

And if the Indian theme nights put the zing into the middle of your week, BBQ Nights on Thursdays provide the perfect way to slow down and slip into the weekend. Diners can indulge in barbecued cuts of succulent meat and fresh seafood, which they can savour outdoors, under the stars. For RO 26 per person, guests also get unlimited select beverages and complimentary use of the swimming pool.

And to keep the weekend mood rolling on, guests are welcome to try Olivos’ Bubbly Brunch Fridays between 1 pm and 4 pm, where a lavish buffet awaits them. Take a refreshing dip in the pool and relax as you unwind with family or friends.  Bubbly Brunch Fridays are priced at RO 26 per person.
