The popular venue of Muscat’s nightlife, Copacabana at the Grand Hyatt Muscat, is known for playing the best R&B, hip hop, dance and techno in town. But on September 25 and 26, this nightclub will transform into a musical warzone, with the warriors taking on each other in a battle of beats.
Titan Events is organising ‘Oman’s Ultimate DJ’, a competition that will be held over two nights, where disc jockeys will belt out a storm of hit tracks and re-mixes in an effort to win the audiences’ hearts and votes. At stake is a potentially career-changing opportunity to play in a major nightclub in Budapest (Hungary) over a weekend, and a slot on ‘Hi’ FM that will add to the DJ’s experience and gain them wider recognition – in Oman as well as in front of an international audience. For those keen to witness the DJ competition live and cheer on their favourite DJs can buy tickets directly at the venue. The gates open at 9 pm with tickets priced at RO10 for single entry and RO15 for couples.
Located on the ground floor of the Grand Hyatt Muscat, Copacabana is one of Muscat’s trendiest nightclubs that will be the venue for never-ending stream of party tracks, ensuring that music lovers will stay on the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning. What’s more, at ‘Oman’s Ultimate DJ’, the audience gets in on the act and votes for their favourite jockey. The jockey with the most votes at the end of the two-day competition will be adjudged the winner.
While other competitions that have been held in the past, it is the first time that the winning DJ will have an opportunity to not only showcase his/ her talent but also to expand their horizon. ‘Oman’s Ultimate DJ’ is being organised by Titan Events. More information on the competition, registration, rules and regulations can be found on www.titanee.com.
Joseph Sims, General Manager, Titan Events said, “Copacabana is the perfect venue for ‘Oman’s Ultimate DJ’; it’s got a great vibe, a really happening dance floor and most importantly, patrons who know their music. We are expecting the country’s best disc jockeys to converge here and entertain listeners with an enormous variety of fresh, energetic sounds. And I am sure the audience will have a fabulous time dancing away to the beats and finally, pronouncing their verdict on who goes to Budapest and who goes home. It will be a musical battle to remember.”
