Indian actresses show (Friday, 21st)

Tamanna, youth sensation of south Indian film industry will lead the all women show featuring some of the tops names in south Indian cinema to be held tomorrow (Friday) at the Qurum Amphitheatre at 7pm.

Titled ‘Spark’ by RDI (Rajesh Master’s Dance Institute), the nearly 3-hour-long entertainment extravaganza will see a perfect mix of soulful music, adrenaline-pumping dance and slapstick comedy by veterans in the industry while celebrating eh 12th year of RDI, the organisers announced at a press conference here.

Besides Tamanna, a diverse range of highly power-packed performers such as Sija Rose, Archana Suseelan, Arya Rohit (Badai Bunglaw fame), singers Lakshmi Jayan, and Srinath Nair are some of the few names who have vowed to entertain the populace of the Sultanate of Oman at the Spark organised by Claps Events.

Adding cream to the cake, acclaimed stage personality, star DJ and actress Ranjini Haridas is a sure-shot to win the hearts of the audience with her spontaneity and uncanny ability to entertain the masses.

“Spark is a part of the celebrations as part of the RDI’s 12th year of continuous trust-winning and giving back to the yearning music lovers of Oman”, Rajesh master and Ranjini, ace dance and music duo in Muscat said.

For Sija Rose who was seen with Prithviraj in ‘Ente Swantham Moideen’ and with Vineeth Srinivasan and Asif Ali in ‘Traffic’ and in a handful of movies in Telugu and Tamil besides Malayalam, it is a homecoming for she was born and brought up in Muscat and studied under Rajesh Master.

Iniya needs no introduction as her face is pretty popular as a next door girl this actor cum model cum dancer will set the stage on fire with her quick and mesmerising moves.

While Archana Suseelan, who has already made her presence felt with her roles in ‘Kaaryasthan’, and TV serials like ‘Punar Janmam’ and ‘Ente Maanasa Puthri’, Thara a.k.a Swathy, Arya Rohit (Badai Bunglaw fame) are guaranteeing an evening packed with dance and comedy, renowned singers like Srinath Nair and Lakshmi Jayan are sure to give audience a musical journey through a bunch of both oldies and new hit charts.

Mixing all spices to the right proportion is the task of loquacious Ranjini Haridas who doesn’t even need an introduction. She set a revolutionary style of compering which has only been followed by other DJ’s and stage hosts.

Since Ranjini was crowned Miss Kerala at Femina Miss Kerala 2000, she has been hosting stage and TV shows and today, for events like Asianet Film Awards, Amrita TV Film Awards, Asiavision Awards, Flowers TV awards, Jaihind Film Awards, SIIMA, to name a few, are lifeless without her mellifluous voice and unique compering style.
