National Performing Arts and Events LLC was formed  with the intention to bring the best of cultural entertainment and corporate events to Oman.

Excerpts:

How is the Event Management scene in Oman now?

Excellent. Year on year we can see more and more events are happening. Corporates here in Oman have slowly started believing in it. The quality of the events is also getting better.

Quite a few event management companies have come into business in the past few years. What does this indicate?

This purely indicates that there is room for more event management companies in Oman. More the merrier.  But I strongly feel we lack quality event management companies in Oman.

Are sponsors easy to come by?

No. Not at  all. It all depends on the event and the sponsor’s target audience. Most of the event management companies do not decide on the show based on the requirement of the sponsors,  rather they decide on the show and then look for the sponsors.

Are there many formalities to comply with?

Yes. One needs to take several permissions and approvals from different government authorities as well as related embassies.

When is the best time to host an event?

Any time is best time to host the event. If it is indoor it can be round the year and if it is outdoor, one can only look at organizing during winter. Between November and February is considered the best time.

What type of events does your company specialize in?

We specialize  in various types events it varies - from entertainment/management/sports/ launch to corporate.

How do you differentiate your company from the others in the same business? What do you think is your USP?

We at NPA Events strongly believe in quality and commitment to excellence. It has in fact, become a habit for us at NPA events team. We do not compromise in our style of managing the event. Whatever the event we are involved in, we try our level best to make it unforgettable.  We believe in taking an event as a  turn key project. We design the evening based on the client’s requirement. We add value to it with our creative inputs. We have  creative directors who design the whole ambience/stage/back drop/seating and other related stuff. Every time we  try to create different ambience for the show/launch/events based on the objective of the event and requirement. Perhaps,  all the event companies do the same work, everyone has the same task. There is nothing different.   But our USP is : We strongly believe in doing the same thing differently.

Which are the most popular shows/events your company has hosted?

We have handled many events in Oman but I can list out few events which were real extraordinary:
1. The National Day 2005 at Al Alam Palace on behalf of the   Min         istry of Tourism for His Maj esty,  with our partners Clever bank. This was the most prestigious project for us.
2. F ootball -  His Majesty’s cup final in 2006 for Ministry of Sports Affairs/Oman Football Association.
3. Tom Peters one day management seminar with our partner Competence HR.
4. Ron Kaufman and Barry Maher One Day Management Seminar.
5. Launch of Sohar Power Plant.
6. Aman Ali /Ayan Ali show at Indian Embassy premises for Bank Muscat.
7. Grammy award winner Vishwamohan Bhatt/Clive Carrol fusion concert in Barr al Jissa
8. Corporate Cricket for Oman Cricket Club
9. Recently concluded private mar riage reception function at                                      Grand Hyatt where our task was to create and convert the com mercial ball room into an Indian authentic marriage reception hall. We were able to succeed doing it.

What according to you are the ingredients for hosting a successful event?

Event management company should have professional team who work with commitment, sincerity and lots of passion.  We need a client who will trust us 100% for our professionalism and give us complete freedom to organise the event.
